１、先ずは日本語で。

今日は母の日です。
私は母と離れて暮らしているので一緒にお祝いできませんが、宅配便で母の好きな和菓子とカーネーションを贈りました。

→a single carnation

■ I sent と　I 「did」 send →どう違うの！？
I sent is a statement.
I did send emphasizes the action "send", means I actually did the thing (send).
強調したいときにdidを挟むんだね！
