ちょこっと英語日記【初夏を感じるよ。の巻】

１、先ずは日本語で。

今日は良い天気です。
いつの間にか５月中旬です。家に過ごす時間が多いと気付きにくいですが、暖かい気候と涼しい風に初夏を感じます。
ちなみに日焼け止めの匂いが私にとっての夏の匂いです。

２、グーグル先生と相談。

It is a good weather today.
Before I knew it, it’s a middle of May!
It’s hardly recognize to feel summer because we have to stay at home during the pandemic.
I can feel start of summer because there is still cool wind blowing but I can also feel that warm climate.
By the way, smell of sunscreen is my imagination of summer.

いつの間にか、映画が終わっていた。

３、ネイティブ先生の添削。

The weather is good today.
Before I knew it, it wasthe middle of May!
I hardly recognize summer because we have had to stay at home during the pandemic.
ButI can feel that it's starting, because despite the cool wind it is also warm.
By the way, the smell of sunscreen is how I imagine summer.

ちなみに日焼け止めの匂いが私にとっての夏の匂いです。

私の好きな曲で「明日への扉」（I WiSH）という曲があります。

その曲は「♬光る汗、Tシャツ、出会った恋〜」という歌詞から始まります。

当時、思春期真っ最中だった私は衝撃を受けました。

「汗」という単語がこんなにも美しく使われていることに。

この「汗」という単語、もはや夏の季語ですよね。

懐かしいな〜。
