ちょこっと英語日記【横取りされたぞ。。。の巻】
１、先ずは日本語で。
昨日、インターネットのフリーマーケットサイト「メルカリ」で欲しい商品があったので、値段交渉をしました。
ほとんど半額以下でその商品を売ってくれることになったのですが、いざ購入しようとするとすでに他の人に購入されてしまいました。。。
「横取りされた！」と思ったのですが、早い者勝ち。といえばそれまでです。
考え方は人それぞれですが、逆の状況になった時、私は絶対にしない。と思いました。
なんてこったい！
２、グーグル先生と相談。
Yesterday, I tried to negotiate the price of a merchandise which I wanted to buy on the flea-market website named “Mercari”.
After that, I could buy it almost more than half price off.
But, when I was about to purchase that, somebody else already bought that!
I thought, “ONG! I was intercepted.”
But I had a no choice. I felt sad…
If I was at the other end, I wouldn't intercept someone's negotiation.
３、ネイティブ先生の添削。
なんてこったい！
やったね。
■at the other end
→反対側に。他方に。
■ be about to~
→〜しようとしている。
例）I am about to go to bed.
これから寝るところだ。
★今日のフレーズ。
If I was at the other end, I wouldn't intercept someone's negotiation.
もし逆の状況になった時、私は誰かの交渉の横入りはしないよ。
仮定法！
いちいち感情のさざ波を立てない。
「ちょこっと英語日記」のネタに出来たし！
